Creating the Perfect Bespoke Fireplace for a Beautiful Family Living Room
When designing a living space as beautiful and inviting as this family’s newly renovated living room, every element needs to work harmoniously. For our customer, the fireplace was set to be the heart of the room—a place where warmth, style, and subtle elegance converge. Collaborating closely with the family, we designed a bespoke fireplace that enhanced the ambience and aligned seamlessly with their vision for a contemporary, sophisticated interior.
The Fire Surround
The family sought a contemporary design that would be understated and tasteful —a statement piece without being overpowering. After an in-depth consultation, it became clear that the right material was essential to achieving the balance of style and subtlety they desired.
We selected Dekton, a technologically advanced, ultra-compact surface known for its durability and elegance. Its natural aesthetic and incredible strength make it ideal for fireplace surrounds, ensuring functionality and beauty. For this project, we chose Cosentino’s Dekton Natural Collection Entzo, inspired by the iconic Calacatta Gold marble. The delicate golden veins add a touch of warmth and opulence, while the clean lines harmonise effortlessly with the room’s modern, soft-toned palette. With its timeless appeal, this material unified the design, enhancing the space without overpowering it.
